| Note | Outstanding tenting, superb nacre gloss and strong weight/size ration underscore the impact of this unusual subspecies. The apricot/cantaloupe orange body whorl hue and fantastic integration of almost 3D tents is astounding. Collected by local diver in shallow water near Beheloka Village, south of Tulear, Madagascar, south eastern Africa in the late 90s. The specimen coloring and pattern display are most impressive. The shell displays a worn protoconch and minor mini-chips on the anterior and posterior natural lip. Grade: F++/F+++. |
