| Note | Exceptional specimen with violet/purple rami and strong/prominent multicolored axial ribs. The symmetry of the erect structures and the spreading of the leading and trailing axial structures is exceptional. The specimen displays a perfect apex spire, aperture lip and siphonal canal. Located and plucked from the side of a large bolder at night at 6 meters off Taiohae Bay, Nuka Hiva, Marquesas in 11/2003 by Scuba diver Paul Kanner. The specimen demonstrates minor blemishes on the body whorl. Grade: F++/F+++. |
