| Note | Graceful and wonderful example of a true and rare albino fusiform trialata from the East Pacific. An excellent, moderately heavy specimen with three strongly expanded china-white varices on the body whorl becoming laminate at the edges. This color form is considered extra unique within the species and highly collectable. Plucked off the breakwater at the Long Beach Harbor, Long Beach, California at 10-12 meters in 2006. Some roughness and minor erosion of the trailing varix edge. The shell is complemented by an intact apex, spire and siphonal canal. Grade: F+++/GEM. |
