F++. A BEAUTIFUL SHELL. The piece offered here is undoubtedly a conchological masterpiece: the thick spiral bands are distributed over the entire shell with great regularity and alternating colorations. An exceptionally beautiful Tonna, considered rare, but definitely a great rarity in this condition. The condition is good, almost gem, the flaws barely visible.
China. East China Sea. Taken offshore in deep water by fishermen from the region between Zhoushan and Wenzhou. About 100 m. deep. 2016.
