| Note | Dark, solid, hyper-glazed specimen like polished crystal.The deltoid Trona is graced with a prominent and shining dorsal hump. The shell shows a strong weight/size ratio, thick strong calloused and flanged margins, a black posterior ramp spire blotch, glossy base and perfect extremities. It is a true beauty among deltoidal specimens. Collected by Scuba diver at 2-3 meters between rock crevices off Fann, Dakar, Senegal, West Africa in 2020. The Trona displays a series of typical subtle blemishes, all covered in a thick glossy nacre. Grade: F+++/GEM. |
