| Note | Distinctive large elongate and ultra-glazed specimen with rich caramel hues on the lateral walls and siphons. These colors accentuate and blend beautifully with dorsal blotching and lateral wall spotting. The anterior and posterior margins are thick and exceptionally tuberculated. Modest rostration of both extremities with a super glossy thick nacre. Heavier shell, an impressive beauty. The shell was Scuba diver harvested in the Marmion Lagoon, Fremantle, Western Australia circa 2015. Visual inspection or palpation detects one weak/shallow growth line on the posterior ramp. Grade: GEM minus. |
