Note | Perfect blend of color, spines and stripes. From the deep dorsal red to the pink/red striped valve radial grooves and ribs extending ventrally, in excellent condition on both valves, this specimen is a standout in any collection. This specimen has excellent intact spines, clean serrated/crenulated edges and striking anatomical form. Collected by Scuba diver at 15-18 meters inside and attached to cave wall off Pomio, New Britain Island, Papua New Guinea circa 2000. The specimen has one notable broken spine and minor erosion in a few areas. NOTE: An additional 5€ will apply to Shipping costs for this specimen. Grade: F+++. |
