| Note | LARGE AWESOME PIECE WITH THE BEST SELECTION!! Seldom seen species , some erosion as usual for this large sizes but superb elegant and beautiful. The girdle assimilate the skin of a reptile with even pattern, looks so real. CHITONIDAE - Chiton articulatus (Sowerby, 1832). Found attached to very smooth rocks with green and brown algae at extremely low tide. Under Mirador Don Lupe, Punta Melaque , Melaque, , Jalisco, Mexico. April 2023. Value for this large well preserved specimen: 30-35 euro ATTENTION!!!
