| Note | One very large and nice specimen of the surf clam Mesodesma donacium, collected alive at low tide at Playa Puerto Viejo, Caldera, northern Chile. This species is edible and it has been depleted in some areas in Chile, and it is rather uncommon now. This is a very large specimen for the species, and it retains its periostracum. |
