| Note | PLICATULIDAE - Plicatula spondylopsis is a very rare species and virtually super scarce. This combination is unique and undoubtedly extremely rare. The first part is that black-dark brown specimens with a long body shape in Hexaplex princeps is very rare and to this you add a very rare species attached to its spire of Plicatula spondylopsis, this one with an extremely wavy lip and a unique white coloration, also rare in the species. Hard to see in the pictures but is so nice and elegant live. Returning to Hexaplex princeps, this specimen has very branched and sharp spines, some with black, very dark patterns between the spines and the body. The lip is very thick and intact, the spire comes with some very curved spines, note that for this Giant dark specimen , defects are usual, apex absent and some natural scars o life almost lost between, not detracting the beauty.
