| Note | This incredible GIANT is the LARGEST specimen I have ever seen. Collected during the 1960s, (or possibly earlier), examples of such incredible size are now probably extinct. (I have no knowledge of any recently collected specimen even approaching such monumental size, with specimens of 170-180 mm being called ‘giants’ in previous shellauction sales. Most of the known specimens of comparable size are in museum collections / state intitutions, and never available for private purchase. A rare ‘museum piece’ of conchology for one fortunate collector of giant sized shells. NOTE: This specimen requires substantial packing for safe transit, but I will round down the postage to 100 EUR to anywhere in the world. Please factor this cost when bidding.
