Exceptional quality – PERFECTION – including exemplary preservation of the ultra-delicate flanges flanking the anterior terminal. A rare mus for the Cypraeidae connoisseur. Data: Amuay Bay, Paraguana Peninsula, Falcón State, Venezuela; upon sand/rubble substrate, amongst sea grass, (Caribbean turtlegrass; Thalassia testudinum), and shell bed; 3-5 m; dived; 2010.
