NoteCALYPTRAEIDAE - Crucibulum cyclopium (Berry, 1969). Super hard species to get in any conditions, uncommon. Special brownish background color with sand pattern form. With beautiful structure and axial ribs going to the lip as a sharp fingers. The ventral side is just shiny-glossy with white bright and dark colors combined with so elegant plate in the middle. Some small natural defects o life on dorsum as you can see, not really detracting the beauty. F+++-F++. Found attached under a big stone about 4m deep. Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico. February 2024. Value for this beautiful species and seldom seen: 20-23 euro. ATTENTION!!!
