These species are buried half-buried and live under the stones assimilating caves, not always in sand, particularly between stones, they live in groups of 2 to 8 individuals. Hard to get large specimens with great quality as this one. Most of the specimens at large sizes are fully with drill holes in the umbo side and full with erosion normally, here you can admire a great large with superb conditions, fresh seldom seen periostracum. Exquisite Wide radial ribs very undulated with elegant sculpture. Some insignificant defects like grow natural marks otherwise Gem. Grade F+++ for the species. Found attached in stones under stone with mud in thick sand between about 2m deep. La Vena, Los Angeles Locos, Jalisco, Mexico. January 2024.
