| Note | 95.0 mm, Thistle Is, Port Lincoln, S Aust, hese specimens of Zoila thersites are very uncommon today, due to there being no licensed commercial shell diver in South Australia. The South Australian Fisheries Department has closed the commercial Shell Diver operations. On offer is a HUGE specimen @ 95mm which has a beautiful, inflated, ovate shape. The base is very ATTRACTIVE and STUNNING with beautiful rich brown and white colouration. Graded F++ with a growth line. Very RARE today and was diver collected off Thistle Island, Port Lincoln, South Australia in 15M, 1997. No specimens have been collected from this region for many years. A very unique shape. ALL WHITE REFLECTIONS AND DULL AREAS ARE FROM THE CAMERA LIGHTING. |
