Name | Scurria viridula - Nice, selected , (Lamarck, 1819) |
Size | 16 and 11.8 mm |
Locality | Caldera, northern Chile |
Note | Two nice specimens of Scurria viridula. This species is endemic of PerĂº and Chile. These are very nice selected specimens which have a very nice very pale green-bluish interior of the shells with no boring marks or damages, and a very good dorsum of the shell, with no erosion in the small specimen and a bit of erosion in the larger specimen, but with nice ribs and pattern, as it can be seen in the images. Usually these species have either dorsums covered with calcareous algae or very eroded dorsums. A low price for an interesting lot of uncommon limpets. |
