This species is rarely
collected as it inhabits silty
limestone on the top of
undersea cliffs in 190 to 230
metres of water. Crabbed
shell ROV collected from the southern end of the Zuytdorp Cliffs in Western
Australia from 248 metres of water. A
tan stout species with
light tan nodules and outer
lip with a very conspicuous
brown blotch on the parietal
wall. A dead collected shell with a chipped spire.
