| Note | Very best, selected out of hundreds shell. Giant size, heavy fully mature shell in very nice conditions for this specie. Fantastic coloration. Perfect lip. Single tiny uncomplete drill in the middle of shell covered by nacre from inside. As usually there is some minor damage on apex due to age and erosion. F+++/Gem- Live collected by diver at 10 meters in Thorny Passage, Port Lincoln - Great White Shark capitol of the World. Hard to get this specie in top conditions in modern days. There are no more official shell divers in South Australia. As for abalone divers - they do not care about shells and have a little sense on shell's quality. |
