The specimen exhibits DOUBLE the amount of axial ribs usually seen upon the body whorl, with the entire shell being formed with perfect symmetry, creating an almost unbelievable aesthetic impression. Rare quality for such enormous size. Retention of original operculum. A ‘museum piece’ for the dedicated collector of truly rare and exquisite seashells.
