| Note | NOTE: Time permits only a small offering this month, so I have selected eight masterpieces from the JES Collection for this sale, each of which represents the very best I have had for the species in over fifty years. ------------- EPITONIUM SALARE ‘MULTICOSTATA’: This UNIQUE and outstanding GIANT is my personal favourite of the JES Collection. The specimen exhibits DOUBLE the amount of axial ribs usually seen upon the body whorl, with the entire shell being formed with perfect symmetry, creating an almost unbelievable aesthetic impression. Rare quality for such enormous size. Retention of original operculum. A ‘museum piece’ for the dedicated collector of truly rare and exquisite seashells.
