| Note | NOTE: Time permits only a small offering this month, so I have selected eight masterpieces from the JES Collection for this sale, each of which represents the very best I have had for the species in over fifty years. ------------- SIRATUS MOTACILLA: The LAST, LARGEST, and BEST specimen of the JES Collection, this exceptional, ultra-large specimen is also the finest and most beautiful specimen I have ever seen of this deep-water Caribbean species. Enormous size. Rare quality for such size – PERFECTION. Magnificent, atypically rich earth colours. Rare locality. Now very difficult to obtain, coming only from old collections. Rarely do I urge acquisition, but, should one desire to add to their holdings what is unquestionably one of the finest known examples, this is the specimen to purchase.
