The variation in pattern and colours make this species so very attractive to collect. Sometimes one is lucky to find a most unusual and thus rare colour form like shown on the specimen at sale here. This is a very mature shell, having a light mauve-brown base colour with brown spots on top. As a good venusta, not being perfect it stands out due to the rare colour - most unusual. |
