NoteJeaniana collected off the west side of Bernier Island are typically large with dark dorsums, high cream margins with intense black spots and ink black bases. They are highly prized and locally known as "Big Black Tops". This specimen exceptionally dark specimen was collected during April 2024 from a geodia sponge in 78 metres of water west of Dorre Island off Shark Bay. This shell has a pretty dorsum with dark brown spotting covering 80% of the shell with bluish background poking through and an intense black base. Graded Fine+++ as the shell has a growth interruption on it's labial side. Pretty Shell !!!
