| Note | Beautifully pigmented, strongly calloused and larger edition of this western Atlantic gorgeous and desirable species. The specimen exudes a large/dark intense colored dorsal blotch with intense dark brown blotches, deep grooves on the extremities with faint tubercles above the extremity marginal flanges. Lovely color, high dorsum gloss, produced extremities and strong pigmentation highlight this deluxe beauty. The aubryana was taken in a octopus trap at 80-100 meters depth off Guarapari, Espírito Santo, Brazil in 2022. The specimen shows typical and characteristic normal absence of nacre gloss on the dorsal and ventral areas of the extremities. Grade: F+++/GEM. |
