| Note | Lovely patterned specimen displaying various rich yellow/pink primary hues and a golden lateral line. It's large size, thick rich nacre, perfect extremities and inflated shape brings the desirable attributes of this enviable species into the spotlight. Any collector would proud to display this specimen in their collection, particularly, with this large size. The pantherina was captured in 6/2020 off Shalatin, Egypt by Scuba diver on night dive at 40 meters while hiding in crevice on a small coral reef outcropping situated on sand/rubble substrate. The specimen displays some mini-nacre delaminations/divots on the dorsum and lateral walls. Grade: F+++/GEM minus. |
