| Note | Impressive, heavy and outstanding example of this hard to find in pristine condition common intertidal species. This specimen is absolutely marvelous, with lovely colors, remarkable dorsal banding, deep nacre gloss, high marginal black/brown bands, perfect siphons and clear base. The shell is solid, displays thick rounded margins, and has an strong and desirable weight/size ratio (46.4g). Collected by local fisherman next to an oceanside reef under coral rubble at 2-3 meters off Cebu, Philippines in 10/2014. Grade: GEM. |
