| Note | Striking specimen with spotting that visually pops off the dorsum accentuated by a thick sparkling nacre. Heavy for it's size, the specimen features a porcelain white base, wrapping around the thick calloused margins, particularly on the labral side. Perfect anterior and posterior extremities and base. Collected in 1996 by Scuba diver at 20-25 meters off Broome, West Australia. The shell displays (hiding under the thick nacre), wobbles on the anterior and posterior ramps and two mini-subnacre delamination areas mid-dorsum. Grade: F++/F+++. |
