| Note | Lovely and heavy beauty from Indonesia. The shell features classic talpa transverse dark brown and mustard banding on a sparkling dorsum, The talpa displays high raised pitch black/dark brown tones of the margins/lateral walls that circumferentially include both extremities with crisp clean line demarcations. The shell exhibits perfect siphons and an impressive black/dark brown fused color base. There are some subtle color gradient lines on the dorsum, typical for the species. Taken by divers off Sempu Island, Malang, Java, Indonesia in 2021. The specimen has some mini-blemishes on the columellar lateral wall and base. Grade: F+++/GEM. |
