| Note | Robust specimen that exhibits a symmetrical, balanced and modest display of classic guttata dorsum spotting. The deep water specimen shows excellent form, symmetry and excellent nacre gloss. The shell presents with a moderate weight/size ratio, a wonderful impressive base pattern and a near bicallosa subspecies appearance. Taken by fishermen off Bohol Island, Philippines using tangle nets at 120-150 meters in the 90's. Difficult to flaw this specimen. Grade: GEM. |
