| Note | Immaculate, hyper-glossy and profoundly inflated mini-example of this difficult to obtain Queensland species. Attractive lateral wall spotting, mellow dorsal patterning and thick impressive nacre gloss. The shell shows flawless extremities, with a thick groove and notable terminal callosities on the anterior extremity. There is no significant tuberculation of the margins. Trawled at 120-150 meters by a prawn boat east of Pith Reef, off Innisfail, Queensland, Australia in 11/2002. Grade: GEM. |
