| Note | Classic, substantially large, symmetrically balanced, wonderfully pigmented specimen with impressive lustrous nacre gloss. The outstanding dark brown/black confluent mottled dorsal pattern, subtle blue halo above the sparsely spotted grey/beige lateral walls and perfect beige-toned base make this a coveted collectors Zoila. An impressive, enviable, beautiful and super episema fit for any advanced collection. The shell was snatched by a Scuba diver at 20-24 meters while dining on a reef nested sponge off Geographe Bay, Busselton, Western Australia. The specimen displays some micro-blemishes on the dorsum. Grade: GEM minus. |
