| Note | Beautifully pigmented, heavy, superbly inflated and super lustrous Hawaiian tiger. The shell has intense leopard spotting blended over a tremendous multicolored primary color bed with a distinct and a fine threaded golden brown mantle line. The shell exhibits perfect siphons with a moderate to strong weight/size ratio (238 grs). The shell is outstanding, looks bigger than life, with immaculate nacre gloss with an incredible visual color impact. Captured by Scuba diver Robin Lee, Sr. at 55 meters in heavy current under a small shelf of coral off Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii in 1985. The schilderiana demonstrates insignificant subnacre natural dimples on the base. Grade: GEM minus. |
