| Note | Here is a SUPREME SUPER FRESH M.marginata from the Rottnest Island population. Far rarer and harder to find than the M.consueta from the shallow Carnac Island population, these shells are far paler and sparse in pattern in comparison and exhibit the convex base which is a key differnece between the forms. This is a TOP QUALITY example of this form with FLARED MARGINS that have a soft orange/grey colour to them and meet the FRESH PINK dorsum which is evenly coated with small intricate brown spots. A LARGE shell for the area with HUMPED SHAPE and PERFECT CANALS is not one to miss! GEM condition with 0 flaws that I can see. Live taken from the side of a yellow Geodia sp.
