| Note | GEM, Denuded. The very first and only specimen ever offer, so rare that maybe no one even know if this species exist. Giant size. Ultra rare extremely deep water top bizarre species which virtually not available to any collector. Only exist in museum/scientific institution and a couple on private collection. You can hardly even find one photo of this species online, which is truly how rare this species is. The extreme depth it lives require special method operated by only scientific research boat to collect it. Live taken and perfectly cleaned with apical disc and periproctal plate fully intact. The apical system is absolutely crazy and bizarre. This specimen is a fully mature giant size adult reaching the maximum size and in perfect condition. Taken by scientific research boat "Ocean Researcher 1" in 1629m to 1649m deep, 27 Aug 2002 during one of the scientific research projects. Chance of a life time if you are serious in Echinoidea.
