| Note | EXTRAORDINARY LOOONG SPINES WOOOOOW!! look at this extended long spines in the lip side, crazy!! Super hard to get specimens with this extreme long spines form, unique opportunity to get the real one. The 9 lip spines are super long making of this a unique piece. The second row of spines are very long too and going smaller to the base side as usual for this long spines forms. Most of the spines are great except for some micro defects and apex absent not really detracting the beauty of this rarity. Large size for the population and extremely long spines! In this auction here I offer you a quality of highly selected specimens of Homalocnatha oxyacantha with unique and extraordinary spines. Most of them are very ugly and uncomplete in general, but here the real good ones for a low price. This species can usually reach sizes over 70mm on the Central American side and has a wide distribution from Mexico to Peru. In Mexico there are large sizes as well but most populations are small but truly adult individuals. I have found congregations of up to 20 individuals mating and they are less than 30mm sometimes. But they are usually solitary. Do not miss this unique opportunity to get the most spiny selection. The real thing for this seldom seen species and so hard to clean with ultrsonic. For advancer collectors. Found attached between stones with mud and mud about 10m deep. Near La Vena, Los Angeles Locos, Jalisco, Mexico. January 2025.
