MAGNIFICENT SPINY VENTRAL SIDE AND LONG SPIRE FORM!! Here you can admire a great spiny piece of art. Elegant seldom seen long spire with superb conditions and intact apex, long spines in the lip and great dark colors. Not perfect at all but very selected quality for the species. F++-F+++. In this auction here I offer you a quality of highly selected specimens of Homalocnatha oxyacantha with unique and extraordinary spines. Most of them are very ugly and uncomplete in general, but here the real good ones for a low price. This species can usually reach sizes over 70mm on the Central American side and has a wide distribution from Mexico to Peru. In Mexico there are large sizes as well but most populations are small but truly adult individuals. I have found congregations of up to 20 individuals mating and they are less than 30mm sometimes. But they are usually solitary. Do not miss this unique opportunity to get the most spiny selection. The real thing for this seldom seen species and so hard to clean with ultrsonic. For advancer collectors. Found attached between stones with mud and mud about 8m deep. Cuastecomates, Jalisco, Mexico. January 2025.
