| Note | Lovely and superb example of this North Pacific collectable cold-water subspecies. Presents with intact protoconch, spire and siphonal canal. Beautiful banding pattern as shown in the images with elegant form and ruffling/upsweeping of the fluted varices. The shell has a perfect spire, aperture lip and siphonal canal. Collected by Scuba diver at 12-15 meters while feeding on a mussel bed at Posiet Bay, south of Vladivostok, Russia, Sea of Japan. The specimen is difficult to flaw, but possible wear on some varices can be attributed. Grade: GEM minus. |
