A nice specimen of Crucibulum scutellatum collected washed ashore among algae in northern Chile. This is a rare species which is very hard-to-obtain and with seldom records for northern Chile. The specimen has a nice pattern of dark radial lines and a nice sculpture or radial ribs. This specimen is a new distribution record for the species.
