| Note | Wonderful example of this different Muricidae species. The shell features slighly recurved spines, long siphonal canal with a large, ovate and broad aperture. The shell is light tan with an attractive peach/light orange tinted aperture. The specimen has a perfect spire, aperture and body whorl. The shell was collected by local fisherman in shallow water off Cape Coast, Ghana in the early 80's. The specimen has one separated spine on the spire and typical chipping of the thin siphonal canal edges. Grade: F++/F+++. |
