| Note | CRAZY UNIQUE FORM!! RARE SPECIES NOWADAYS and probably many will be extinct because of the global worming!!the corals at my region are dying like in the rest of the word and this species are living only between corals. Note that the lip of this species always varies according to the shape of the corals in which it developed. here a crazy super extended lip and wide aperture with the classic purplish color at the inner lip. Large size for the species. Natural and intact lip-siphon, seldom seen original operculum, some drill hole around the spire and attachment in the apex really not detracting the beauty of this rarity F++-F+++. Found attached between dead corals about 5m deep. Cuastecomates, Jalisco, Mexico. January 2025. Value for this uncommon species and extended wide lip: 25-28 euro. Good luck and happy shelling.
