Note | One specimen of the very rare and very hard to obtain subtidal urchin Arbacia spatuligera. This specimen was washed ashore alive after some recent very strong surges in northern Chile and it is in excellent condition, with no damages, as can be seen in the images. This is the test, denuded, of a normal sized specimen, and it was carefully cleaned but still can be cleaned further if needed. A low initial price for an interesting Natural History Item and a very rare echinoid from the SE Pacific Ocean. |
