EXTRAORDINARY UNIQUE FORM AND FINGERS!! CALYPTRAEIDAE - Crucibulum umbrella (Deshayes, 1830). Internally, the shell is distinguished by a shelf-like, cup-like, or half-cup-like structure used for muscle attachment. Incredible plate with second intact and perfect deep plate in the side that represent this species is elegant adorned. This shells are always growing with form in what hey are attached and making always unique grow lips. Really wavy lip like fingers all around combined with awesome brown color and superb undulated body. The ventral side is just stunning and glossy. F+++. Found attached under stones with brown algae and mud. Between 7m deep. Cuastecomates, Jalisco, Mexico. January 2025. Value for this special wavy and undulated body form with rare fingers: 20-25 euro.
