| Note | One excellent specimen of the largest Bostryx species from the Región de Atacama, in northern Chile: Bostryx erythrostomus. This species lives in a small area in the coastal desert, and their shells are often transported by wind. This is a particularly nice specimen, in much better condition than all the other specimens of this species offered in listings, with a very nice deep reddish-purplish aperture, a perfect lip, and a solid shell. |
