| Note | China, Guizhou Province, Tongrem, Fanjing Mountain. F, immature specimen. A mysterious species firstly described as a new Takasagohadra based on a single juvenile specimen in 2013. Years ago a local collector found several immature individuals in the type locality and some were living. The living pieces were reared to maturity in laboratory for dissection and molecular studies, which proved that this is actually an Aegistohadra species. I got three of the specimens from that collector, although immature, still representative for this extremely rare species. Y006 |
