NoteOn our last trip to Esperance we found this stunning chevron patterned candida in a brown basket sponge in 88 metres of water south west of Salisbury Island and to the south of Israelite Bay. Different shell with well developed chevron pattern on a white background. It has a creamy apricot base and margins with sparse tan spots. The shells siphons are intact and are dark orange. Graded Fine++ due to a dorsal growth break, which is almost a feature to the pattern. Exceptionally heavy and mature. A very Unique and Magic shell !!!
