Here is a CLASSIC specimen of this rare species. Short dark spines cover this shell with a handful of LONGER SPINES extending from the outer-most whorl of the shell. It exhibits underlying tones of PINK COLOUR which is a key characteristic for the species and presents amazingly well. Wonderful condition with just a couple of attempted bora holes on the outer part of the shell amongst the delicate black spines but hardly noticeable. Live taken on weedy/tidal swept reef at 8m.
