Strongly pigmented handsome specimen with a perfect pyramid patterned body whorl and two strong mid-body white hued axial bands. The longitudinal interrupted and undulated dark brown stripes complement the broad field of complex white tenting. The cone has a natural lip with intact spire and protoconch. Collected by trawler at 50-60 meters on sand/rubble substrate off Pedro Gonzales Island, Panama in 6/1978. There exists one mini-chip on the mid-lip area, as seen on the lower left image. Grade: F+++/GEM.
