NoteProfound axial bands are the hallmark of this gorgeous little conch. The shell exhibits a high nacre gloss, flawless protoconch, spire and thick natural lip. The shell is visually remarkable and memorable. Collected by diver at 4-6 meters at base of coral reef in sand off Balabio Island, New Caledonia in 2002. The shell has a small anterior chip just above the stromboid notch. Grade: F+++.
