NoteHyper-mature and pop-out pattered specimen with an excellent dorsal spotting and blotching with a full and deep nacre gloss. Ultra-creme colored primary color with beautifully mottled collage of blotching with jet black lateral walls. Moderate weight/size ratio with a beautiful base pattern (56.0 grams). The specimen displays perfect siphons, base and thick margins. Scuba diver taken by John Ward at 10-12 meters in 1/2008 off Edithburg, South Australia. Collected from a limestone reef while feeding on sponges. A few subtle subnacre glossed over micro-grains can be seen on the mid-dorsum. Grade: GEM minus.
