| Note | Hyper-mature, superbly nacred, hyper-calloused and rostrated beauty from the Red Sea. Large, heavier and solid pyriform specimen with thick callousing on both margins that climb the lateral walls presenting a memorable form and balance (55 grams). Dark primary color with an excellent distribution of white spotting with two subtle light dorsal bands. Captured by Scuba diver at night in 25-30 meters nested on coral reef sponges off Shalatin, Egypt in 2020. There exist some negligible subnacre blemishes on the labral anterior ramp. Grade: GEM minus. |
